Curb Appeal
Start with the outside of your home, or your curb appeal. Take a fresh look at the outside of your home from the view of a passerby. What jumps out at you? What dollar-earning features seem hidden? Understanding this assists us in determining what we can do to entice buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with touched up paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your house's final selling price.

"Welcome to your new home!"
Does your house seem to say, "This is Your New Home" to a buyer? Examining your property with a critical eye, I'll advise you of fixes that improve Open House appeal. I'll help you put out of sight anything that gives the illusion of clutter. Surface areas like tables, desks and counters should be neatly arranged. Brick-a-brack, sentimental items, family photos, and kids' artwork should get stored away too. I can help you simplify the decor of house. Ugly or busy spaces make your home feel smaller and buyers have a harder time picturing themselves calling your property "home".
Every room gets a once-over. I'll note the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, rugs needing to be changed, fixtures that need shining, and any other improvement that can easily be made to positively impact the sale.
I'll make sure that your home has mass appeal and that it's inviting, avoiding "offensive" or "too-bright" colors on the walls and furniture. And if the house is empty, you can try borrowing furnishings. You want your house to look lived in as opposed to vacated.

Setting the Stage In every opportunity, we want to capture buyers' attention. Brightening up each room is critical, so we'll do things like open curtains and change light bulbs where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music playing softly and ensure a delightful aroma circulates from every room. We'll incorporate cozy-looking blankets, and pillows on your love seat and bed. Buyers should feel like your current house has the potential to be. |
